This program is included as part of the curriculum of the group home and is open to the public as a means for the community. The program is for enhancement and educational opportunities needed for young adults. This program is for enhancement and educational opportunities needed for young adults, adults, and seniors entering or reentering the workforce for a better chance at ending a life of poverty. When leaving the program, they will be empowered with knowledge, so their actions and mentality of worth ethics will strengthen and become sustainable in their community.

Career Closet Program

A New Beginning for a New You. Professional attire leased out for interviews and a week’s worth of interchangeable outfits once the job has landed. You must go through our program to visit the Career Closet. You will learn the dos & don’ts of corporate dressing.

How the Career Closet Works

1. Call to set up an appointment, stop by the NLCDC front desk during open hours, and ask to use the Career Closet.

2. Browse and try on our selection of clothing items, including shirts, pants, skirts, blazers, dress shoes, and more!

3. Check out items for an interview.

4. Choose up to 3 items to check out for after employment!
